Located on the banks of an inland lake in mid-Michigan, we started our internet business in 2007.  As a family owned and operated business, we have combined our two careers in customer service related businesses with our interests in home related hobbies.  Cooking is one area that is close to our hearts - and stomachs, too!  Our daughter has also picked up the bug and after receiving a college degree has enrolled in the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute.  Whether she eventually climbs the ladder of cooking fame to be the next celebrity chef on the Cooking Network, finding a career in the vast hospitality industry or being an industry adviser to The Pots and Pans Store remains to be seen.

We enjoy working with people and providing the kind of service that we tried to give to customers over the last 35 years.  While it is unfortunate that personal customer service is so hard to find in today's business world we are fortunate that it is what many people are seeking.  That is because whether we are offering kitchen related products, home heating and cooling items or yard and garden products, the foundation of each part of our business is PERSONALIZED CUSTOMER SERVICE. 

You, the customer, run this business by letting us know what it is that you want and how you want to receive it.  While many people will settle for the sterile shopping experience at a big box store, many others prefer and seek out a small shop to receive the personal service that is so rare.  As refugees from the economic onslaught that has overtaken the state of Michigan, we decided that we still wanted to operate a business, to seek out customers who want to do business with a friendly, service oriented firm and to look for those customers all over the country, and for that matter, around the world. 

For over a year, we have been making friends and doing business not only with hundreds of folks from Maine to California and from the Dakotas to New Mexico, but also in Europe, Canada and Australia.  The one single characteristic that we have found is that people enjoy and appreciate doing business with people who they like and trust.  And that is what you can find with The Pots and Pans Store.
